Happy New Year 2009!

Hope everybody is fine. I am also okay. New Year eve was peaceful. Boys at the accommodation had made some food and I also got some. Although only a little before midnight and I hadn't eaten anything else than lunch, so I was quite hungry.

I've been a bit frustrated at the research institute. It's hard to find right people to interview. Also phone numbers and email addresses are not all working and people are not responding to emails. Well some of these same problems could be in Finland too. I just hope to be able to meet at least some people while I am here. Hopefully next week it will be possible. (Update: I got an appointment to WWF-India next monday, yay!).

Otherwise days are pretty similar. Yesterday I was with a colleague at City Centre for coffee and dinner, which was nice for a change than reading articles at the accommodation. Tomorrow I might take a taxi to the centre and explore the sights.

I've been glad to be healthy (knock on wood). I've drank mainly bottled or filtered water and tried to be careful with food but luckily everything has been fine although I've eaten some questionable things. Hopefully this will be the first Indian trip that I've not sick!
